In May of 2007, Tecnoacustica introduced ISOLTES to the market, an innovative insulation product comprised of a patented composite multilayer material, wade with:
- polyester fibres.
- internal (200 TRIS) or one-sided (200 PP) polypropylene mesh reinforcement,
- high-tenacity fibres which are mechanically bonded together.
ISOLTES is therefore a felt underlay which, being a valid insulation material, includes the following characteristics:
- is made from recycled materials,
- is entirely recyclable,
- is easy to apply, thereby limiting installation costs,
- is available in both rolls and panels
- has an elevated fibre density,
- acts as an elastic insulation,
- is highly resistant to wear and tear,
- is chemically and physically stable and therefore cannot be altered over time,
- will not rot,
- has vibration damping properties,
- has soundproofing properties,
- reduces the noise produced by impact.
ISOTES felt underlay can be
combined with other specific materials, by melding, gluing or other means of adhesion, to optimise its soundproofing and vibration damping properties, to improve its mechanical resistance, to guarantee its water resistance and to
