Sandwich plasterboard panels Guarantee both Thermal as well as Acoustic Insulation


Tecnoacustica deals with two types of building insulation, thermal insulation and acoustic insulation. The Sandwich plasterboard panel technique is employed in order to achieve optimal results in both of these sectors.

On the other hand, in order to achieve an optimal acoustic insulation, the plasterboard is combined with the following materials:
  • ISOLNAT Acustic wood fibre (NAT),
  • rock wool (ROCK)
  • DBSTOP elastomeric mass (DB),
  • elastomer foam (NBR),
  • polyester fibre (POL).

Combining plasterboard panels will all of these materials of different characteristics, innovative products can be obtained which are capable of providing excellent insulation for floors, roofs and walls, for both new and old buildings, with significant energy and financial savings.

What’s more, the sandwich plasterboard panels are highly resistant and also have a reduced thickness which renders them suitable for the building new structures, such as:
  • plating: fastening the sandwich plasterboard panels directly to pre-existing walls,
  • partitions: creating a metallic structure, supported by a pre-existing wall, to which the sandwich plasterboard panels will be fastened.
  • Plasterboard walls: using these materials alone for the construction of new walls.
